This website used to be my childhood, and I called it my safe space. I met amazing, wonderful people on this website. Words cannot explain how much I needed the love and support you all gave me.

I joined this website over 14 years ago. I am now a pediatric hematology, oncology, and bone marrow transplant nurse in NYC. I love what I do. I have been dating my incredible boyfriend for five years now. Eleven-year-old me never thought I would genuinely be in a relationship. I'm grateful to have him as a support, to have him by my side, and to be there for one another no matter what.

I've always wanted to write a book, and for some reason, writing this is inspiring me to start one.

You will always mean the world to me. You definitely played a role in shaping me. We were besties during the very important formative years, after all.

I was telling Kam that we should all have a movie night once a month or so. We could FaceTime and watch the same movie and catch up and actually get to converse face to face.
