The mood in the room was light, full of laughter, and jokes. Ciya, my beautiful blonde hair blue eyed wife was nuzzled up against me. She told a joke every now and then but, she was to busy in her own world. Conner, my oldest brother, must've had one more beer than needed, because for the first time in 105 years he was the life of the party, but then again he did just get a girl so that could be the reason. Then there was Dastan, the second son of the Regions Clan, he was the good, do what mommy says boy. He was only fun as a drunk.
"And you see Dastan, thats why we get laid and Jake doesn't" Conner chuckled as he spoke, ohh boy he thought he was just so damn funny. Dastan smirked and laughed. I hated my brothers.
"Excuse me men, but the only reason i'm not having sex is because my wife is expecting and my child shall not have holes in her and or his head" I laid my hand on Ciya's stomach, as I did I felt my child kicking, Ciya turned to me and we shared a kiss. Never have I been so in love in my life. She pressed her lips to my ear, whispering "I love you".
"Stop with all the lovely bull..its making me sick!" Dastan pretended to gag, that idiot need to be punched in the mouth. Ciya pulled away from me and looked over at my brothers.
"Do you really want to mess with a pregnant women?" she was smirking. I loved just how much fun she had messing with my brothers as i did, one of the many reasons why I love her. Conner propped his feet up on the table and smiled at Ciya.
"We don't need that baby to come early now" Ciya giggled and stood up, I watched her as she went to the kitchen, and grabbed the papers off of the counter. She leaned against the table and tears run down her face. "Jake, could you come here please..."
Theses days everything made her cry, a nice hug and a few tissues usually made it better. "Babe, whats wrong?"
She put her head on my shoulder, and sighed. "Jake.." she spoke softly and showed me a file with the name "Cullen" writen on it. "CIYA!" I yelled and pull away from her, I should'nt have yell but I did and I would be sorry for it later. "But Jake! please just hear me out!" Ciya was a Child Care Worker, well we both were, thats how we met. Her job was to find files of children from overly agressive and abusive homes. My job was to remove thoses children and find them better homes. Thats been our job for awhile now and shes never wanted to adopt any of them, till now, there was somthing about the Cullen children she liked.
