 Brian McKee. was nineteen and homosexual. He took his own life at June 4th. He was an amazing guy with a beautiful smile. His friends loved him, and they still do, they will always. He will be missed by a lot of people. We (his friends) want to keep his profile, to leave our memories and love in comments. . I wonder if somehow this would reach you— if maybe it’d cross time and space to wherever you are and you could hear me speaking this.
I always thought suicide was selfish, though I empathise and understand what brings someone to that point. I never understood it’s impact until I met you and then you were gone.
I’m 26 now. As I get older, I think more often about what it would be like and I can see clearly why you left us.
I never thought you gave up— not once. I just think this world is too harsh for people like us. Kind and easily damaged.
We aren’t weak by any means, but I feel like with accessibility these days for mental health and disabilities, we still have to try too hard to be happy.
I often feel like if I’m not happy I’m letting people down or worrying them; and sometimes I just want to rot for a while, but it’s still not acceptable even to do that.
I think I understand more and more why it was a more desirable option for you— and I just want to say I miss you, too.

I miss you & Seth so much. You both always knew what to say when I needed advice or a shoulder to cry on... & you both knew that I would be right there to return the favor. You were the best people to ever walk the face of this planet.
