She works as a model alongside Senri Shiki. Her exact relationship with Shiki is unknown, though they are almost always seen together, signifying a close relationship. She also cares deeply for Shiki and possesses a personality quite similar to his. In ch. 36 she confronts Rido (who is in Shiki's body) and claims that, he is not Shiki and tells him to leave his body. During her fight it is revealed she can heal at a quick rate, though her actual abilities wasn't clearly shown. She is wounded but is saved by Ichijo who steps in on the fight to save her. She tries to convince Shiki to snap out of his state and calls him an idiot for willingly giving up his body, telling him to come out. Toya means a "far-reaching arrow" Rima's given name is a combination of ri, or "Jasmine", and ma, which signifies enhancement by wearing away, such as by polishing or scouring.
