We could time skip a few months ahead. Keito's last bit of training for ozuru before he can take over his own fleet is to kill off any worldly attachment he has. aka Nanao.
All the while, nanao's been beefing up, trying to make herself ready for when keito or ozuru inevitiably comes after her.
