Today is day 3, all mowing down and did a lot of weed whacking but just a tad down at the end of our driveway around the mailbox as it is a bit sloped and needs weed whacking as it's too hard to hold a mower at that angle, at least for me. So the end is near and by the time I get done with the weeds and edges it will be time to start over. Argh! We have been getting just enough showers to keep lawn growing. I love seeing it all done, so green and beautiful. We need to finish our front porch Ron has been doing almost 2 years, but in his defense he had two back surgeries. They weren't major or anything, he had a synovial cyst pressing on a disk that needed removed. Down time was only 1 month and I had all his chores plus mine, lol. I think he did that on purpose. Just kidding. Anyway, long story short, I know it's too late for that, I'm sore but I do feel better getting out to do things rather than be on computer all day or watching tv between work and dogs. I'm using muscles I never knew I had. But I'm good, thanks for asking. I hope your day was good too. Do you have to do any outside work? My husband wishes we had 10 acres, lol, I'd be dead by now. Not sure I'll keep the account since I don't get much out of it anymore, except of course, when I can get there and talk to you. I'll wait awhile before I do it though. As far as the acre I now mowed, walking, not riding on one like my husbands. The rain came a few times to make it take a bit longer but it is day 3 and all I have left to do is to weed whack around the trees, light pole, along the driveway and around the house. I want to next get out my new rototiller and dig all around the house about 2 feet, or enough to plant some bushes and plants and then put mulch so I don't have to weed it any longer. My goal is to make my life a little less tiring and get it done quicker. My husband sits inside on nice days I don't get it. He'll say he is going to work on his truck or mower, both now aren't running. I feel like I am man and woman doing it all, plus cooking, cleaning, taking care of 9 dogs and then some. I am tired, lol! Anyway, I digress, I appreciate you stopping by. If I don't get on FB much, we can use email or here or personal on that site that is like GG, I forget the name, but you'd have to tell me if you write to me on there so I know to check it.
