kira: *looks over at jake, still smiling from talking to nico* hey is it okay if uncle jake goes to? dont want to leave him all by himself do we?
nico: *shakes his head no and takes her hand* lets just gooo!! *starts pulling her out the door*
kira: *giggles and follows him* alright alright im coming
nico: *walks out pulling his bag behind him on the floor, the strap around his chest*
kira: *looks over at him* oh hey, i can get that.. *looks at conner and jake hesitantly, but steps in the house and hoists the bag onto her shoulder*
kira: *sighs* he mat or may not.
nico: yay! *goes to pack his stuff*
kira: i told zeri that i didnt want nico to have to deal with meeting me for the first time along with a guy that isnt his father..
nico: papa please can i go with her to her house?! i want to see it! -pulls on conners shirt-
kira: -looks up at him= its fine with me. its only me that will be there.
nico: really? can she?
kira: i would love to! then we can go grocery shopping and to movies and theme parks and i'll take you to work with me *keeps rambling*
nico: -walks over to her and looks straight up at her- do you really?
kira: of course i love you nico, youre my baby. -bends down and picks him up suddenly, hugging him tight-
nico: -doesnt know what to do for a minute then hugs her back hesitantly- momma.. -buries his face in her hair-
nico: -looks down and mutters- sorry...
kira: i know its not fair that im your mother and youve never met me.. but i swear if i could have been, i would have been with you for every second. on your first day of school, when you learned how to talk and walk.. -covers her eyes for a moment and takes a deep breath- im sorry nico.
nico: -stares at her with his arms still crossed and eyes narrowed- okay.
kira: -raises her eyes to meet his-
nico: -peers up at her, scrutinizing her for a few minutes before crossing his arms and narrowing his eyes- well nice of you to finally show up.. im seven now, could have been here a couple years ago.
kira: -opens her mouth to say something but closes it again- yes, youre right..
kira: -blushes and casts her gaze down, clasping her hands in front of her-
nico: -opens his door and looks up at conner- what? who is it papa? i was playing zombies on black ops -rubs his eyes because he hasnt blinked in so long-
kira: *jumps at the yell* um.. hi. i uh.. i just wondered if i could see my son.. i know its a big thing to ask for and i dont really have the right because ive been gone for so long but i really want to see him since he isnt that old and all my other kids have already grown up and decided they hate me *continues rambling on because shes nervous*
kira: *flattens out her summer dress and checks her flip flops for mud, stalling because shes nervous* oh come on kira.. *knocks on the door and bites her lip*
