This is an avatar made from the iconic image from the poster for the classic play "Turandot." I've never actually *seen* Turandot, but I love the poster (I only found the name of the play when looking for the poster's origin online.) I believe the art is by Kinuko Y. Craft, if I'm not mistaken. She does beautiful paintings of fantasy and faerie tales.
