We (Wiccans) worship a God and a Goddess. Well, we worship humanly comprehendable personifications of the higher power, separated into God&Goddess. Sometimes the God is called The Green Man. You know this thing, \m/ ? That comes from Wicca. It is often mistaken for something Satanic, but in fact represents the Green Man (a.k.a. the Horned God, still nothing to do with Satan!!) Because everything has a certain masculinity AND femininity to it, we have the God&Goddess, showing parallels. God is a.k.a. The Sun God, and Goddess is a.k.a. The Moon Goddess. More parallels. Not good and evil, just different. Like religions.
There you have it. I'm gonna go prepare for Solstice.
The Pentacle is a five point star ... representing the five elements: Spirit,Water, Fire, Earth, Air...
It is used for protection or a tool to evoke spirits.
There is no evil connected to it at all because Wiccans do not believe in doing evil.
Where as some witches do practice evil, or dark magic.
ABOUT WITCH AND WICCAN... not all wiccans are witches...not all witches are wiccan...
WICCA is a religion and not practiced by all Witches.
NO we are not like Harry Potter, we do not make MAGIC like that, that is MOVIE MAGIC...it happens faster because if we had to wait for real spells to work the movies would be too long.
Wiccan is a religion!Just like Christianism.
And not to be harassed or belittled not to be made light of!
