Good evening, Shakela! Thank you, I hope this week is going well for you too. It's okay, real life is also busy for me.
I pray that all is well with you & your loved ones too! You are welcome for my always stopping by. <3
Thank you, wishing you a pleasant rest of the evening! Take care & God bless you as well!
Hello sweetheart, it's really lovely to hear from you and please don't worry about not calling by as often as you'd like ... Real life happens and it must always come first ... I haven't been doing much on GG either to be honest, I've been trying to build up my art to sell in my store and trying to build up my Deviant Art profile too... How are things with you? I wanted to also thank you for my gorgeous birthday gift you made for me, I absolutely love it and I'm so sorry I haven't thanked you sooner, I managed to vote and comment on some gifts today that friends have made for me. I have missed GG a lot, it's nice to get time to catch up and visit friends. Sending you lots of love and hugs xoxoxo
Hello my Dearest Sis,
No apologies...I know your life is extremely hectic and can't always be here either. You know that's the way it is with me too.
As long as I hear from you...I'm happy.
I hope you and your family are doing well and your week has started off on a happy note.
Week is going pretty good, hope it is for you too, thanks.
That's okay, I know we're all more busy these days, so no worries, thanks for stopping by, also much appreciated.
Thanks for your prayers, we're all doing pretty good, pray all is well with you & your loved ones too.
Your welcome for making sure to get all of your comments you sent out with the friendship tag I made for you that I had to redo, thought just in case you wanted to send the same message out to each one, that it would save you time.
Your also welcome for the messages I've left for you on your page, & for the tags I've made for you, thanks for your requests & the comments you leave me too.
Thanks also for the compliment on my page, your page looks awesome as well. Cool, on how you change yours, I usually make an easter one first, then spring, since sometimes easter is usually early on, then I don't have to go back & do another spring page, lol :)
Melanie asked me the same question just the other day LOL
Here was my reply to her:
(Hope it helps you too)
You asked about how I do some of my lettering.
Most of the time, unless I am using a pre-made alphabet; I use a program called Print Master Platinum 2011.
I think I got it at either Target or Walmart for about $40.
I really like it because not only does it have lots of clip art, the program allows you to import your own graphics also.
But the best thing is the lettering. The program allows you to put "fills" inside the font that you are using. You just upload a texture, background or any kind of graphic and the program places the picture inside the text. From there you can enlarge, shrink or position the fill any way you like.
You can also bevel the text which makes it look raised.
(That's how I do the lettering on my fruit tags).
You can also add drop shadows or different types of outlines to the text.
I didn't know that the program had all the lettering options when I bought the program, so it was a nice surprise :) I had fun playing with it and learning the various options. It also helped that it is fairly user friendly.
Hope you are having a great day/night
