I love books,but I can't honestly say I love all books. For those comparing Harry Potter to Twilight and then saying Twilight is better,needs to honestly get their brains checked. Anybody of any age male/female can read Harry Potter and love it. The same can't really be said about Twilight. And that's what shows you J.K. Rowling is the better author,she can reach a far wider audience than Twilight ever can. In 10 years nobody will even remember the name Twilight. At least not the people with actual love lifes lol!
As you can probably tell I'm not a fan of Twilight,no offense against those who actually like it(and yes I have read all the books,I will never diss a book if I haven't read it first). I personally think Twilight is a literal piece of trash, it insults real vampires, the writing is atrocious, and the characters are pathetic at best but hey thats my opinion and we all have the right to one!
Harry Potter faced sudden death to save his people from an evil Lord. Frodo Baggins traveled thousands of miles, across rugid terrian, with little food, to save his people from a ring that would destroy his whole world. The children in Narnia fought in an epic and dangerous battle to save a nation from an evil queen.
And what interesting things did Edward Cullen do? Sparkle.Another fact is that Bella is like 17 and he is like 100, isn't that considered a pedophile? Even if he looks like he is 17 or whatever, he is still an old man. What do girls find attractive about that?Look at it from a non-obsessive fan view.He stalks her,he wants to eat her, he's abusive.SO ROMANTIC HUH?
