Hi.. just got your message. If you want to look for specific pix to work with u can go to www.photobucket.com & search just about anything. You could set up an acct 4 free there to hold all of the pix & accessories you'll be using. Be sure to make it a private acct thou so no one can steal your graphix. Actually everyone who sign's up their has a choice to make their images available to everyone or private so it's a great way 2 find graphix since alot of us use it to hold our pix & even our templates (graphix that are ready to be personalized) okay.. after doing your search's & finding pix u want 2 work with there's a site u can take them 2 for free & u dont have 2 download anything to use it. Actually there's 2 places that are identical only diff is one allow's u 2 sign up & that mean's you'd be able to save graphix your workng on & save accessories like charm's, glitter for glitter text, ect. but it does'nt alway's upload all pre-glittered pix right, sometime's it will go flat but they have about 30 type's of animation you can add to your graphix instead. Including glitter but I dont personally care 4 their glitter or sparklies. to busy. but that's me. lol. anyway
okay you take any pic you want, if it's already glittered remember not all will work at lunapic but there's the other site which does'nt let u sign up or hold anything there but take's more animation & has a few more option's to give it more animation. okay. the site's are not something I tell ev'one about. I let ev'one know about lunapic but it's not until they are serious about graphix that I give them the other addy b'cuz it's painfull for me to type & I dont want this place flooded by summer vacationer's who ar'nt serious simply b'cuz then there is the possibility that they'll begin charging a fee & on social security dissability I just cant afford that. :) hope u understand. anyway.. the 2 addy's are:

now. just take any picture there & start checking out what u can do with different graphic idea's u have. once you've checked out what u can do. :) ev'thing u add can be easily un-done by clicking un-do afterward's or later. You can alway's go back 2 your original image.. so just enjoy yourself & see what all can be done, 3D border's, glitter text is something I'll explain after your comfortable with the place. dont use their glitter it's terrible & break's apart. You'd seearch for 'glitter fills' at photobucket & pick out a few lil swatch's then you'd upload it to one of othe sites. After it's loaded u click on Edit, then copy to clipboard, then load your picture & when your ready to add your text, click on DRAW, then text tool.. as u set up the text to the right there are over 4000 font's 2 choose from. just click the link to the right of the text choice's.. ok, now your ready to pic your color and 2 get the glitter instead of picking a regular color.. u click on tile's (check out the different tile's you can use for text too some are pretty cool :) kk, choose the top option.. YOUR CLIPBOARD. you should see your text change to the glitter color you put on the clipboard.. oh & remember sometimes the wilder the glitter color's look the cooler your text look's & silky looking glitter fill's make awesome text :) okay that's probably a bit overwhelming for the first night of learning about graphix but I do hope u start making them. and if u do try signing up at www.pagepaint.com with us. Alot of the people that do graphix here are also member's there. You can upload your finished graphix both here & there.. on some request's people want their name & their boyfriend's or husband's & glitter graphix only allows one name on a graphic but pagepaint does'nt care about that. the only restriction there is one they just added this week & it's that all of your graphix that are Bmp file's need 2 be changed to gif (that's easy to do at either site, u click on File, Save File, then choose GIF (here u should see the size of the graphic in kb's.. if it's over 200kb's pagepaint wont take it anymore & if it's huge like what? ahh 700kb's I think.. not sure.. GG wont take it. lol) so when u have really big graphix your making you'll have to save them into your photobucket until the person u made it for has saved a copy & then u can delete it. What's nice about pagepaint is the interaction with other artist's. they will vote on your graphic & it cost's one credit to vote (u get credit's for every graphic u upload) and they leave u messages about how much they like your work ect. You'lll find that the friend's you've made here probably half are member's there also. I just had the best day of my life b'cuz of pagepaint last week. I dont enter competition's but I did join the 4th of July graphix contest at pagepaint.. and I must have entered 50 different graphix but the 1st one I did I"d been working on 4 about a week b4 the 4th so when they mentioned contest I added their www.pagepaint.com to it & loaded it. can u believe my dear friend's here & there voted it up & I won first place. It's a permanently embedded tropy on my page. It's soo awesome b'cuz I still think of myself as a newbie to graphix after a few month's only & that really gave me the confidence to continue. I stopped taking request's here temporarily until I can get caught up.. I've worn out 2 keyboard's in 6 week's & was still getting up to & over 250 request's per week between the 2 places I mentioned & myspace... w/chemo & radiation I started falling behind & before I knew it.. I was swamped with a wonky keyboard. lol. it's impossible to do graphix with a mouse that does'nt reply. espcecially on a laptop.. I can do anything about it b'cuz it's not like a regular mouse that u can clean or oanything. jeez. sorry I"m rambling on & on.. it's pretty painfull to type right now thanx 2 all the hole's in my left arm.. lol the dr's are treating me like a pin-cushion. kk enuf.. go have fun & as your going along if u need help let me know. I may just write up a tutorial or call a friend of mine & dictate one to her to type up so every question about workin with lunapic & graphix are answered. I did'nt start off witha program. & I just uninstalled GIMP yesterday so I can download & learn PSP instead. Another artist here is teaching me ev'thing about graphix & she knew of a free download so no more messing with the smaller but harder 2 learn program. Well have fun & just ask if u have question's.
