Just a simple country Lady, living a simple country life with my youngest son. I lived in Eastern Kentucky for 30 years and in April 2006 My son, Travis and I made the decision to move me to Ohio where he was living. I had been sick and he didn't like/want me to be living by myself anymore. It's been a hard past few years, but God is always by my side and through his Grace I pray for better days ahead. Praise the Lord's Name!!
I have two sons that I am extremely proud of! My oldest is in the Army and he is serving his 4th time in Iraq, his 5th tour of duty, which is way too many in my eyes! He has a gorgeous wife and we have three beautiful growing up way too fast daughters that are they apple in their Nanna's eye!!
My youngest son is a refrigeration mechanic,the Property Manager for Meijers in Columbus.
I love nature to no end and my critters. God is my first concern in life because God is who takes care of all things in my life as long as I give it all to him and BELIEVE!
I pray God Blesses all that reads this, gives you strength, faith for all you want! Amen

GOD BLESS YOUR SON FOR EVERY SACRAFICE HE HIMSELF AS WELL AS YOUR ENTIRE FAMILY HAS HAD TO MAKE TO PROTECT OUR COUNTRY !!! IT IS HARD SOMETIMES FOR THOSE OF US AT HOME TO REALIZE HOW MUCH THESE MEN AND WOMEN PUT ON THE LINE EVERY DAY UNTIL IT HITS HOME LIKE IT DID WITH ME... MY BROTHER WAS ON HIS SECOND TOUR AND DIDNT TALK MUCH I HAD TALKED MYSELF INTO BELIEVING THAT IF HE DID IT THE FIST TIME CAME HOME I MEAN THAT HE WOULD AGAIN NO PROBLEM... I WAS SO VERY WRONG AND IT EATS ME UP INSIDE EVERY DAY... TELL YOUR SON AND HIS FAMILY MY FAMILY PRAYS FOR HIM AND HOPES HE COMES HOME SAFELY...
I hope you son is safe and will continue to be i have family who have served in he past and are over seas now. Happy fourth of july Your son and many others will be in my families thoughts and prayers
I really LOVED this design of "REMEMBER OUR SOLDIERS" especially during this 4th of July. It is going to be another year that my oldest son is going to have another birthday in the Sandbox, another year away from his wife and daughters for again another Christmas.
So YES, Thank you to ALL OF YOU THAT REMEMBER OUR SOLDIERS!!Yeah they signed up for the Military, but you know I remember all all to well the words that came out of my own sons mouth at that time as he put his name on the list to become "OWNED" by the government, "Don't worry Momma, there's no war going on, it'll be ok. I'll get to travel and see things. No big deal."
He was one of those that believed on every word his Army recruiter had been telling him for the past 2 years at his High School. God is with every step he takes along with all my Prayers.
