Hi Jessi, to change your avitar picture you click on edit under where the blank box is at top of your page, then there where you put your birthday and such there is a line where it says browse. that is to find a pic that you would like as your avitar pic for your page. But it has to be of small size. For now if you don't have anything small you might want to go though the avitars on here and find something you like, save it to your computer and then upload it from there.
To put things on your page copy the second code down under the graphic you see. It's called the BBCode. Then place it in the box that is under where your personal info is there in the edit section and then hit done at the bottom right.
It's really not hard it's just finding out first how it's done. And as for making graphics most people on here use some version of PhotoShop Plus. And we have to be very careful that we don't use graphics that are copyrighted and we aren't allowed to use them. If you have any problems getting a pic up for your avitar let me know :)
