Hi Chloe, welcome to glitter-graphics! You've got a great start on making your own graphics, I see!
Basically, GG is a host site for graphics/background, etc. There are users that come here strictly for images, users that make and contribute images and a wide variety of everything in between. There are two site administrators (Madelon & Serhat) and multiple site moderators and official artists. These are the people that contribute behind the scenes.
Most users that sign up, have their own page (like yours) and you're able to customize your page by using BBcode.
With that said, if you have any specific questions, feel free to ask...there's a whole community of users here willing to help!
