I saw your message on Wilma's page and thought that I would send you a message. She has had surgery and she probably won't be getting back to you for a while.
Now...to make someone your friend, your go to their page by clicking on their avatar (the little picture of them in the square--mine is "TinkerBelle.") and then you find the box that I call the "add box" It's the blue box on the left with the little black arrow (yours says "Add deti4 as your:") then below that it says "friend" with a triangle, which indicates that it has a "drop-down" menu. That means that it has more than one selection. Here it has: enemy (for people you discover you really don't like) friend (for friends, of course), idol (for people you idolize, I guess) and love (for family and extra-special friends, etc.) When you're on a person's page that you're visiting, go to their box if you want to be added, you would select the friend tab (normally), then click on the black arrow...and "POOF" You're done! Be sure to let them know you've added them by leaving them a message so they can add you back. Next time you visit them (if you're already friends) it will show on their page, right on that box. I added you as my friend so you could see what happens when someone adds you, ok? Wonna be friends?
About making graphics: maybe one of the moderators here could help you with that, but in the meantime, here's a cool site to get you started on making your own the easy way. I just started there myself. Here's the link: http://blingee.com/
