I'll bet some of you have been wondering where I disappeared to. No this time it wasn't the computer. The computer is just fine. I have had what was thought to be just tendonitis in my right thumb since July. I finally got in to the orthopedic doctor and got my steroid shot and a little something more...he said I had what is called a trigger finger (thumb). The tendon wasn't sitting right over the joint and so he used a special needle and basically cut part of the tendon free so that I can bend my thumb again. I still have one more week before I am even allowed to attempt to open jars. My thumb was big and purple and too sore to attempt to use the pc. It is better now so I am back. And while I was recovering I managed to come down with the flu. I am still not completely over it but I am feeling a whole lot better than I did a few days ago!
During all of this Dan and I somehow managed to get the Christmas shopping done and our boxes mailed off to the family in Florida. I really miss being with them at this time of year! Now there is only a couple of more things to get for our daughter and I have to get presents for my precious kitties too! Okay so I am crazy and I buy my pets presents...but they actually look for their stuff under the tree so I cannot disappoint them!
Thank you to all of you who have left me messages on my page in my absence. Some of you even left me graphics with my name...I really do appreciate those! Thank you so very much!
I just wanted to let you all know that I was thinking of you. I missed being able to write to you. I also missed voting on the beautiful graphics!

I'm in a weird "empty-nest" type of place right now. My daughter just started work at Sea World. I know that soon she will be in college (Spring) and after that well who knows...before long she'll leaving home. :) / :( I am happy and sad at the same time. I am going to miss her being here so much when she finally leaves. Where did the time go? Wasn't she just in diapers like yesterday?
Thank you for all of the beautiful comments, greetings and graphics you leave on my page! I love them all. They help cheer me when I am blue.
I have almost found all of the programs
that disappeared with the death of the
old hard drive.
I am still trying to find links. It really is
depressing because I had found several
artist sites where the artists offered free
tubes of their own designs. :(
But anyhow things are almost back to
working condition here! :)

I just wanted to say hello and let everyone know that I am still here! My hard drive, which was replaced in May, died completely. I've had it replaced yet again and I am in the process of finding all of my links all over again. :( As soon as I have everything put back to rights I will return to sending greetings and voting.
It has come to my attention that a lot of people are being upset by those who vote thumbs down to their graphics.
Please do not let these people get to you! I see folks getting so upset they are leaving the group here altogether.
Or they stop taking requests. If you do this then the people voting you down have won. Take a look at all the requests you have gotten. This is because you are good at what you do! The people who vote thumbs down apparently need to make themselves feel better. Maybe it is because they do not get any votes at all. Or maybe it is because they know their graphics are not good and cannot compete with yours! Either way they are not worth the energy that is spent getting upset. They are trying to make you appear small because they are small themselves! Make them disappear totally by ignoring them!
The only thumbs down votes you should concern yourselves with are the ones that come with some constructive criticism to back it up. These are the ones to help you to improve...not tear you down.
And if you are getting more thumbs up votes compared to the thumbs down, know this, you are good and you have been noticed! They are jealous!
I am sorry I missed you all ( my glitter graphic friends ) for weekend greetings! Here it is Sunday already! Wow the time sure flies by doesn't it? My husband spent the weekend using the computer so I didn't get a chance to. But I am here now and I just wanted to stop by and say hello! Thank you to those of you who keep leaving such lovely letters & graphics on my page! I love each & every one that I get!
