EMO ALREADY HAS A DEFINITION! IT'S CALLED EMOTIONAL!! and you can be unhappy or depressed without being a society definition "emo" I just think that all of this crap is ridiculous. I'm sick of people calling me a poser because i wear an American Eagle t' shirt one day while listening to rock music, and then the next day i wear red and black and listen to the jonas brothers. I wear what i want, and i listen to what i want, and the band's i like don't define who i am. People who walk around in freaking clown masks because they listen to Slipknot, or people who have raccon eye makeup just because they listen to rock and they think they have to dress and look like the bands they like are seriously misguided. And just because you're depressed, dosn't mean you have to start cutting your wrists, dress in all black and become bi sexual. You act like your all so original and different because you die your hair pink, or dress like Edward Siccorhands. But if EVERYONE in your little "emo" group is dying there hair pink and dressing like it's halloween, then that makes you all exactly the SAME. Stop pretending, you can just be yourself, you don't have to categorize yourself under some ridiculous label. And FYI, your sexuallity should definitly be one of the things that "peer pressure" can't change for you. You wanna act like your all so different? Then fine, be different! step out of the freaking box your putting yourselves in! And be your own person, you don't have to be exactly like every single one of your friends! And let me repeat, "Emo" stands for "Emotional." That means happy, sad, angry, pessimistic, optimistic, jealous, misserable, amused, aggravated, annoyed, cheerful, bored, apathetic, cynical, overjoyed, or any other emotion that could ever be running through the human body at any given moment.
