"I like your Christ. I don't like your Christians, for they are very unlike your Christ." - Mohandas Gandhi

^^One of the many reasons I'm pagan. The level of hate exhibited by the conservative christians is terrifying.

BTW, absolutely epic icon XD

While some of the comments on this graphic make me wonder just how loving the children of god are remembering to be to their neighbors and enemies...

I love this graphic! Even if all are of the old testament and no longer apply because no sins will keep you from heaven anymore if you just ask for forgiveness, I think the Christians ought to realize the REASON they are no longer valid and just leave the poor little homo-kids alone.

AND TO ALL THE CHRISTIANS OR THOSE WHO CALL THEMSELVES CHRISTIANS:

Learn the BIBLE!!! And stop making ridiculous comments. You try to defend your religion, but you cant even say the basics.

The Old testament doesnt apply???!! Then neither does the constitution.

Geez. People. Give me a break. You wonder why others dont take you seriously??? o-0

this is so not true... who ever mad this is lying is making fun of christians want to know the truth read the bible for yourself and fyi evanescentromance the whole bible whether its from the old testiment refers to this time to truth doesnt change

Honey, those are not lies. All those verses are in the bible. Read it yourself before you tell someone else too.
And FYI, yes the bible HAS changed. Man changes it time after time. Usually to fix errors from previous translations.

Integra, its slander. and Misrepresentation. Just because it says Lev. 19:19 doesn't mean thats a direct quote. Why dont you take your own advice and go read it in context. Figure out what its saying, then post your comment. And fixing errors doesn't change the message the bible is trying to relay Dear. ...the wording could have changed, the pages its printed on could have, but the point is that the message is constant.

The Sundry Laws were there to help separate people from the pagans. That is all. Regardless of the time, I'm pretty sure that is understandable.

God most love hate :P just like how he hated gays and told men to go into town and rape women

Fucking awesome icon"

Uhm noo.... Where did you get hate from? Saying something is wrong doesnt equate Hatred. And God never told men to go into town and rape women. In fact, in this very chapter that
VeggieRox is misinterpreting, God says you shouldn't rape people. So Once again, Read the Bible if you want to diss it?? Not that I'm supporting Homophobia etc etc, I think people should love who they want. But I think it's wrong to misquote things because that just strengthens the negative image.

People will judge. That's life. Who cares?? o-0

TO CONTINUE: I'd also like to say that this graphic is incorrect. The bible never says those things are abominations first of all. God simply said dont do those things. The reason for that is simple if you look at it in context. Comparing things from Centuries ago to the 21st Century makes no sense. Back then, things like shaving and tattoos were associated with paganistic rituals. Mixing fabrics and even plants was thought to be magical. So don't try to compare it to today...It's like trying to put Shakespeare in the context of 2011...not happening. God say to keep his Sabbaths, which also has to be read in context. Don't say the Bible says working on Saturday is an abomination. As for the hamburger thing...?? Lev 17 10 says that you shouldnt consume blood. AND the Shrimp and Bunny thing. God said you shouldnt eat them because they arent clean. Idk who eats Bunnies...? If thats a problem of yours..? and as for shrimp and other shellfish, their digestive tracts arent complex enough to flush out all the toxins they consume, so it goes into their flesh. Thats why health authorities warn against eating them at certain times of year, bc theyre poisonous. Why else do you think they have so many diseases and allergens related to them.

The Point is. Before you make a graphic like this, do your research about what you're saying. Calling things "abominations" that are completely out of context doesn't change anything. It just makes you look somewhat ridiculous

But thats Just My opinion.

I'd just like to say that as a Christian, I am aware that the bible doesn't approve of homosexuality. However, I could care less about someone else's sexuality. Shoving the bible and God down anyone's throat isn't going to convert anybody. It's not like you're telling them something new...Religion should be someones personal choice. God says not to judge. Leave the Judging to him and everyone mind their own buisness. Who are we to say who God Loves? People will do what they want. God gave us the free will. So why doesnt everyone just live their own lives?
