Some go through depression thinking that their genetical parents did not love them. As a mom with two newborn babies in heaven, I know that neither my baby girls or me as their mom ever got to have a "choice" in whether they lived or died. I wanted them both so very much, and yet all my love I couldn't save them. I can do now is cherish what little time I got to have with them, and then let everyone I know that giving a baby back to heaven hurts the soul for the rest of your life. Adoption may rip a girl's heart out, but at least in that "choice" a gal won't live with the heartache of death all the rest of her life. No one knows how bad it aches to lose a baby until the baby's lost. To choose loss over life will only leave a girl's heart broken forever--and always wondering about the baby that would have been. And there's so many moms like me who would love to love an adopted baby. Watch the movie, Juno--there really are other options that are better, not just for the baby, but especially for the mom. Sorry, didn't mean to ramble, it's just that losing a baby is so heartbreaking, that I can't bear another woman to endure such a loss.
